Description of Visual Orchestra:

Visual Orchestra (VisOrc) is a graphical design environment based around the Csound audio processing language. VisOrc creates Csound script files, orchestras (.ORC) and scores (.SCO) and then passes these files to Csound (a seperate executable file which is available free on the Internet). Csound will render your sound to a WAV or AIF file, which VisOrc can load into its internal audio player or alternatively, play directly on your soundcard in real-time. This means you can do all of your work with Csound in a single, consistent environment, without typing scripts or switching between windows.
