Description of DISCo Commander:
DISCoCommander is a popular file manager. Some of its features: 1. The possibility to work on remote computer through Internet connection both in FTP mode and in the native DISCo Commander mode for the connection with the DISCo Commander on the remote computer. In the latter case both the security and convenience are provided without special system administration. 2. The possibility to work with portfolio where links to various files or directories are stored structured by folders. 3. All file operations (copy, rename, delete, search, comparing) are executed in separated processes which allows not to wait for the file operation completion and do something else while operation is executing. 4. The possibility to launch both DOS and MS Windows applications< 5. A great number of built-in viewers 6. The entire support of the work with remote devises 7. 32-bit version, moreover, provides the correct work with long file names (except archives), net names of files and Drag-and-Drop technology and many other.
