The MakePDF library allows you to add the ability to write Adobe Acrobat PDF files from your software quickly and easily.
Description of MakePDF Library:
The MakePDF library allows you to add the ability to write Adobe Acrobat PDF files from your software quickly and easily. Designed for use with C & C++. When producing software one of the great dilemmas is how to produce the output, comma separated, or tab delimited is good for portability of data, but not so good for formatting and printing. Straight ascii text is ok, but a little dull and limits you to just text. Formats such as RTF are difficult to produce programmatically. The ultimate report or output format for compatibility, layout / formatting, compatibility, and extra features e.g. security, and additional data storage has to be Adobe Acrobat PDF. But even this has been historically difficult to produce, or expensive with libraries costing a few hundred dollars.,BR> Due to these limitations we have developed the MakePDF library, allowing you to out put fully formatted PDF files containing text, graphics, and images, with the additional advantages of compressed content, and full security features as found in Acrobat writer. The library is simple to use based upon a minimized function set used to draw onto the PDF pages. The download version consists of the static library built for Microsoft Visual C, and a dynamic library built for linux, along with a production licence (no more to pay to deploy your developed code).
