How Does the Baby Fun Game work? The "Baby Fun Game" is a computer game designed to be played by Baby while sitting on the Mommy or Daddy's lap. All keys trigger a colorful action in the game with wild animal pictures, words, sound and other fun effects. The game is designed so that it will not stall, no matter which keys Baby hit,s and will keep moving along. All the key reactions are consistent and logical, so as Baby plays she will learn experience by experience the connection between hitting particular keys and the resulting action on the screen. The game is also designed so that the parents can suggest, and gently persuade, Baby to hit certain keys to get a fun result, but there is no RIGHT key to hit so there is no tension when the parent helps. This allows the parent to happily participate in Baby's play experience. As Baby begins to understand the logical connections in the game she or he will discover more interesting things that can be done, including using the mouse. In the "Baby Fun Game" the key for each letter in the alphabet corresponds to a picture of a wild mammal spelled with that letter as the first letter, such as A for Antelope and B for Bear. A large version of the letter grows out of the permanent on screen alphabet and moves next to the picture. The whole name is spelled out beside the animal and a voice speaks the letter and pronounces the name of the animal. This creates a lot of colorful action for Baby to watch and hear while also showing the connection between the letters on the keyboard and the alphabet. Pressing a number on the keyboard will cause the animal on screen to multiply to that number and a voice will count them out loud while the numbers appear over the animals.
