AutoRead for Microsoft Outlook

Would you like to be able to automatically mark messages as read on arrival? Or automatically remove the New Mail icon? AutoRead is an outlook plugin (custom rule action) that will enable you to do that.

Description of AutoRead for Microsoft Outlook:

If you receive email that does not need to be read right away and you don't want to be interrupted by the "New Mail" Icon, AutoRead is for you.

If you receive email that you'd like to mark as read automatically, AutoRead is for you.

For example, if you subscribe to a mailing list and have a rule that automatically moves all messages from the list to a special folder for later review, using AutoRead you can add a rule that would automatically mark the messages as read and/or turn off the "New Mail" icon when they arrive.
