Our second goal was to present this information in the most exciting way possible, so we designed our very own virtual robot and we call her Crystal, she is also powered with the state of the art text to speech engine from Loqendo, for the best possible clarity and personality. We did not stop there, Crystal is not just good looking she has also an amazing brain, in fact she has over 22,000 pieces of information that is dedicated for general conversation alone. So as you can see iBot2000 is an intelligent robot directory, where your child can not only discover the amazing world of robotics each week, they can also interact with our beautiful host Crystal and when you need more information about any particular robot it’s just one click away, it’s that simple. When it comes to Robot technicians Tony Dyson (Author) is quite unique, as well as building one of the most famous Robots ever, R2-D2 he has also designed and built Robots for some of the largest electronic companies in the world. For example Sony, Philips and Toshiba.
