ALSETUP

ALSETUP is a programm that provides an easy access to Alligator security systems- inner software. ALSETUP allows you to diagnost system inner components and to patch the software if necessary.

Description of ALSETUP:

ALSETUP has two diagnosis- modes v the quick one and the complete. Quick diagnostics (QD) works without turning off the system and thus don-t interrupt her work. QD immediately detects malfunction in the security perimetes's components v idle locks, ultrasonic and laser motion sensor, various audio and video system maladjustments and so forth. Note that the only moment that remote diagnostics cannot detect is the condition of door and window sensors.

Complete diagnostics (CD) allows you to detect not only the maifunctions but to identify the kind of failure as well. For example, the trouble with electronic lock will be checked and you-ll see immediately what-s the matter v the lock itself, control unit or group local controller. CD also allows you to check the system service capability in step by step mode, to check every single group or unit and info-channels. The only disadvantage of CD mode is that you have to turn off security perimeter for diagnostics time and thus the perimeter becomes defenseless.

ALSETUP allows you to get the access to the inner structure of certain device - primary and secondary Flash-ROM (2x256k), two large eprom (128k) and small eprom for local system settings.

Note: in order to program small eprom you have to disable the internal system block function. You may use ALSETUP built-in function CLST. It allows you to disable and enable small eprom blocking in a matter of minutes.
