StartMenu Cleaner
A tool to allow users to clean up dead links and empty folders in the start menu
Description of StartMenu Cleaner:
StartMenu Cleaner is a tool designed to allow users to identify dead links and empty folders in their start menu and remove them. Under Windows 98SE and Windows Millennium, the user is able to see the files in the start menu folder (which is shared by all users). In Windows NT, 2000 and XP, the user can choose to scan for dead links in the All Users start menu or simply in their Current User start menu. After scanning for dead links, the user is presented with a list of dead links that were found (if no links appear in the list, no dead links were found). By highlighting a specific link and clicking the button Link Properties (or simply by double-clicking on a link), a properties dialog is shown giving more information about the link.
